The United States Special Operations Command (USASOC) placed an initial production order for their new MK22 rifle. Barrent Firearms received the contract in late 2020. Deliveries were projected to begin in January 2021.

MK22 MRAD Sniper Rifle

The Advanced Sniper Rifle (ASR) is described as a modular, multi-caliber, bolt-action sniper rifle. It is based on Barrett's MRAD bolt-action precision rifle.
