Central Intelligence Group (CIG)

The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was dis-established in late 1945 by President Truman. The OSS was replaced four months later in January 1946 by the Central Intelligence Group (CIG). The CIG would last two years before it was replaced by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
