The U.S. Army Special Forces has a unique set of missions - and many unique weapons with which to accomplish those varied missions.

Special Forces Small Arms. Rifles, pistols and other small arms used by U.S. Army Special Forces.

One of the more unique - and classified - weapons that Special Forces employed was the B-54 Special Atomic Demolition Munition or SADM. There were specially trained Special Forces teams designated as "SADM Teams" to carry these small atomic warheads into enemy territory and emplace them against targets. 1.

XM-174 Automatic Grenade Launcher. The M-79 40-mm Grenade Launcher was a big success in Vietnam. This led to the Army wanting a more advanced grenade launcher. Read more in a news story by Real Clear Defense,  March 16, 2015.
